Empty Tomb is an alternative rock band from Hong Kong. The band consists of Kong Wai (vocals, guitars), Neo (guitars), Siu Keung (bass guitars) , Kubo (synthesizers) and Edward (drums, percussion).

Having influenced by bands like, to name a few, Radiohead, Jimmy Eat World and The Get Up Kids,etc, Empty Tomb’s music is reflective, melancholic and deeply sincere. It is a mix of guitar-driven rock by synthesizers with lyrics inspired by the Bible and their life experience.

Empty Tomb got their start in 2005 with an original line up by guitarist and vocalist Kong Wai, another guitarist Rickel, bassist and vocalist Siu Keung, keyboard player Kuboyama Yuki and drummer Jimmy(bei). Empty Tomb has gained a reputation for being a band of great perseverance and hard work.  Having been awarded in many competitions such as Yamaha Asian Beat Band Competition 2007 and Competition of Heartbeat Band Sound 2008, Empty Tomb has also been invited as a guest performing in some well-known musical events namely, “Rock On Ten”, “Big Farm” and “Ani-Com Festival”. Empty Tomb is active in Hong Kong independent music scene.

In 2009, the first limited edition single Hold My Hand was released. All copies were sold out rapidly. Empty Tomb toured to a few countries in Asia including Taiwan (Spring Scream), China (Snow Mountain Festival) and India. In 2010, Empty Tomb decided to return to the studio and record the first full-length album. The new album – Getting lost will help you help yourself released on 6th Dec 2013.
